West Windsor Little League, in accordance with Little League International, requires volunteers to complete a background check, Abuse Awareness, Safety Awareness, and First Aid Awareness training each Spring season to help support a safe and positive environment for all participants.
Completion of these courses each year is
REQUIRED prior to participating in any team or league activities for all managers, coaches and any volunteers who interact with WWLL youth. This includes parents who may not be registered as assistant coaches but are helping at practices, games, or in the dugout.

Safety Awareness Training
The Little League Safety Awareness Course provides volunteers with an overview of key safety concepts and best practices that support safe league operations. Designed specifically for the Little League program, this training helps volunteers understand their role in promoting safety, identifying potential hazards, and supporting a strong culture of safety throughout the season.
First Aid Awareness Training
The Little League First Aid Awareness Course introduces volunteers to common injuries, basic first aid principles, and response considerations specific to the Little League environment. While this course is not a certification program, it provides practical awareness and guidance to help volunteers recognize injuries, respond appropriately, and understand when additional medical care may be required
