West Windsor Little League is excited to offer its most committed softball players the opportunity to compete in post-season tournament play each summer. Post-season teams are more competitive than the recreational spring season. While fun, development, and sportsmanship remain priorities, players selected for All Star teams are expected to commit to a rigorous schedule of practices and games.

Through our partnership with Lawrence Little League, WWLL players will have the opportunity to try out for and participate on Lawrence District and Special Tournament teams. These teams provide a tremendous opportunity for players to continue developing their skills while competing against strong programs from across District 12.

Softball District Team All-Star Selection Eligibility

• 8s All Star Special Game Tournament: 7 and 8yr olds

• 10s District Teams: 8, 9, and 10 yr olds

• 12s District Teams: 10, 11, and 12 yr olds

 Players must participate in at least 8 regular season games to qualify for the District Tournaments. Practices and games can run into Late July, depending on how well a team plays.   Given the competitive nature of All Stars, practices will typically be held 5 to 7 times a week, depending on game schedules.

Costs: The fee for the team is designed to cover the cost of uniform, tournament entry fees and several other fees that are attributable to each team.

The West Windsor Little League is excited to offer its best players the opportunity to compete in post-season baseball each summer. Post-season teams are more competitive, as opposed to recreational, although we certainly still expect the players to have fun and to emphasize development and sportsmanship. As such, post-season players are asked to commit to practicing extensively and attending all games.

The 10, 11, and 12-year-old WWLL District teams will represent our league and compete for state-wide honors. The District team provides a tremendous opportunity for players to improve their skills while competing against the best teams from other towns.

Mandatory tryouts will occur in May.  Selection of the team will occur after consultation with the managers of the players trying out as well as the coordinators of the respective leagues. Players must participate in at least 8 regular season games to qualify for the District Tournaments. Practices begin after May 15, and can run into early August, depending on how well a team plays.   Given the competitive nature of All Star baseball, practices will typically be held 5 to 7 times a week, depending on game schedules.

Costs: The fee for the team is designed to cover the cost of uniform, tournament entry fees and several other fees that are attributable to each team. Uniforms include a uniform shirt that is better quality than the regular season uniform shirts, dri-fit team shirt, hats, belts, and socks. Pants will not be included.
