2026 - Spring Softball

West Windsor Little League Spring Softball gives children of all ages and skill levels the opportunity to develop a love of the game while building physical skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The season runs from mid-March through mid-June, with WWLL Memorial Awards Night held one week before the season concludes.

At the lower divisions (Tee Ball and Rookies), players build their understanding of the game and develop core skills in a positive, team-oriented environment. Tee Ball focuses on fun, participation, and basic fundamentals, while Rookies introduces more structured gameplay and a gradual level of competition. As players advance to the upper divisions (Minors and Majors), the level of competition increases—teams will win and lose games—but participation, effort, and enjoyment remain at the heart of the program.

Rookies, Minors, and Majors Softball teams will participate in interleague play, meaning they will compete against other Little Leagues within District 12, with games held both at home and at nearby fields.

Special note to Parents of Softball Players: Please strongly consider volunteering to manage or coach your child’s team. Do not let a lack of coaching experience stand in the way – coaching clinics and instruction manuals will be made available. To run a successful Softball program we need more volunteers to help.

LATE REGISTRATION FEES will be applied after Sunday FEBRUARY 1st, 2026

To earn back your $100 bond, you must complete the following volunteer requirements:
  1. Volunteer Tasks: Work (2) Volunteer Tasks for each registered child.
  2. Concession Stand: Work (1) Concession Shift at the Ward Concession Stand per registered child. Sign-up for Concession Shifts will be done separately.
If you have more than two children registered, the maximum volunteer requirement is:
  • (4) Volunteer Tasks
  • (2) Concession Shifts
Additional Concession Shifts worked may count towards your Volunteer Task requirement.

EXEMPTIONS:
Team Managers at the Rookies level and above are exempt from the (2) Volunteer Tasks and (1) Concession Shift for the child they manage.
Assistant Coaches are exempt from the (2) Volunteer Tasks for the child they coach but must still complete (1) Concession Shift to earn back their bond.
