2019 Spring Tee Ball

Designed for 4 and 5 year old boys and girls, as well as 6 year old boys and girls who have not played before.

Our tee ball program is designed to teach our players the skills they need to be successful baseball or softball players.  We work on fundamentals with a focus on FUN.  Your child will learn skills to help them throw, catch, field a grounder, run bases and hit a ball off a tee.  These skills are the basis for any great ball player.  This six week program will end with a fun game, lots of cheering and smiles!

2019 Baseball All-Stars

The West Windsor Little League is excited to offer its best players the opportunity to compete in post-season baseball each summer.  Post-season teams are more competitive, as opposed to recreational, although we certainly still expect the players to have fun and to emphasize development and sportsmanship.  The 10, 11 and 12 year old WWLL District teams will represent our league and compete for the District Little League championship. These teams provide a tremendous opportunity for players to improve their skills while competing against the best teams from other towns.

Playing All Stars is a serious commitment. Players are required to be available for all practices and games from mid June to early August.  Players with vacation plans or other activities that will make them unavailable during any part of this time frame should not register for All Stars. Missing practices and games will impact playing time during games this coming season and will impact being selected for All Star teams in the future.  Due to the competitive nature of All Star Baseball, it is imperative that the team plays and practices together - and the success of the team depends heavily on the commitment and attendance of the players. We understand everyone has vacation plans and want to play other sports. Unfortunately, we will be unable to accommodate those considerations as we want a set of players that are wholly committed to the team for the All Star season.  Questions regarding this issue should be directed to [email protected]

Very Important - Please note that the minimum play rule for District games will be one at bat per game.  Depending on the number of players chosen for the team, there may be no requirement to play in the field.  For games in the District tournament, minimum play rules will likely be utilized by the team's manager.  Some players will bat only once in a game and will not play in the field on defense.  It is possible that some players will not play any innings in the field for the entire District Tournament.  The district team will play in an additional tournament where the district minimum play rules do not apply

Selection of the team will occur after consultation with the managers of the players trying out as well as the coordinators of the respective leagues.  Practices and games begin shortly thereafter, and can run into August, depending on how well a team plays and progresses through the tournaments.   Given the competitive nature of All Star baseball, practices will typically be held 5 to 7 times a week, depending on game schedules. If there is enough interest, a second team will be formed to play in non-district tournaments.  The district minimum play rules do NOT apply to these tournaments.

Costs:  The fee for the team is designed to cover the cost of uniform, tournament entry fees and several other fees that are attributable to each team.  Uniforms include a uniform shirt that is better quality than the regular season uniform shirts, and team T-shirt,  hats, belts, and socks.  Pants will not be included.
