Aug 5-WW Bests B'town 7-6 to Win West End Tournament Championship
The West Windsor 10/11 District all-stars brought home the championship of the late District 12 tournament hosted by West End Little League of Trenton. In the final game, the “Woodpeckers” (so dubbed by the West End field announcer) defeated Bordentown 7-6. NEW AUG 6: PHOTOS FROM CHAMPIONSHIP GAME ADDED.

July 30-WW 8's Win Second Tourney Championship of the Summer
The West Windsor 8-Year-Old All Stars pounded HTRBA over the final three innings to take the Bordentown Tournament Championship game, 13-3, on Wednesday night, July 30. July 27-Triple Play Helps WW Win HTRBA Tournament Championship
Strong pitching and heads up, hard-nosed play delivered a 7-0 victory over Lawerence and the HTRBA tournament championship to a resilient West Windsor team. Ryo Komeno pitched a complete game shutout for the win. In addition to his pitching guile Ryo and Scott Feryus showed their veteran savvy. Read main article to see team photo.

Aug 1-WW 10s Finish in 3rd Place in Lawrence Tournament
The WW 10s lost to HTRBA 9-5 in the semifinals of the Lawrence Tournament. WW fell behind 8-1 early but rallied back to cut it to 9-5 and threatened for more in the fifth and sixth but were unable to push more runs across.
WWLL Boys 12-Year-Old Tournament Team
July 12-WW Defeats Woodbridge Black, 11-7
After suffering a defeat to the strong Nottingham team that eliminated them from consideration for the next round of play, the West Windsor 12YO and under Tournament Team finished its play in the Woodbridge Summer Slam Tournament with a strong 11-7 win over the Woodbridge Black Team.
WW Boys 10-Year-Old Tournament Team
July 24-WW Advances in Hillsborough Tournament
The WW 10-year-old Tournament All-Stars played 3 games back-to-back in the Hillsborough Summer Blast Tournament July 17, 18, 19th and ended pool play with a record of 1 win, 1 loss and 1 tie. This earned the team 4th place in the division and advanced them into the semifinals with a rematch game against Randolph scheduled for this Saturday, July 26 at 11:45 AM.

The WWLL 7-Year-Old Tournament Team finished its first tournament strong with the boys really fielding and hitting with consistency. Unfortunately, they lost Luke Potts to a non-game injury and he's now out with a broken arm; Luke, the team will miss you!
WWLL Boys 9-Year-Old Tournament Team
July 26-WW 9's Lose Close Battle with Princeton-Eliminated from Ewing Tourney
The BB 9's played Princeton on Saturday night, July 26, in a battle that went down to the wire. With Princeton up 7 to 3 in the top of the sixth, WW mounted a rally behind Alex Mitchell's two-out single. The following six batters hit or walked to get on base driving in three runs in the process. With the bases loaded, Princeton got the third out to end the game, 7 to 6.
WWLL U8 Softball Tournament Team
June 27-WW Loses in Semi-Finals
The West Windsor girls’ tournament run came to end with a 13-6 semifinal loss to a powerful Robbinsville squad. Throughout the week West Windsor showed steady improvement at the plate and in the field --the had begun the tournament with a 17-1 loss to the very same team. Megan Foley, Catie Raeter and Courtney Skolka led the way in the field and at the plate while newcomers Jacquelyn Cai, Julia Revock, Iris Foster, Jenn O’Leary, Julia Bahash, Megan Kramer, Jackie Markisz and Shreya Mandloi each contributed to the girl’s surprising run through the U8 tournament. West Windsor looks forward to seeing these girls compete again.
