The schedule for work within the concession stand at RJ Ward Complex is listed below.
Please review and find your assigned time spot immediately. Families with children in Baseball Majors, Baseball Minors, Softball Majors, Minors and Rookies as well as Baseball AAA and Rookie’s have assigned shifts.
Managers of all teams are exempt from Concession Duties
To make the concession work, and to make money to help support the league, all families must be involved. Last year the concession stand income paid for the field maintenance at RJ Ward.
ONLY ONE ADULT PER FAMILY (16 or older), is required to show up and stay for the entire shift to fulfill your concession volunteer responsibility.
As stated in the registration material, the concession volunteer duty is in addition to your other volunteer duty. To receive your $75.00 bond back, you must complete both volunteer duties.
If, for some reason, you can not make your shift, it is your responsibility to find a replacement from this list. You can arrange a swap with another family. If your replacement does not show up, it is still your responsibility. You will be charged with a missed shift, not your replacement
Please do not call the manager assigned to your shift to ask them to find a replacement. That is not part of their duty.
In case of bad weather, and the games for that day are canceled, your portion of the concession volunteer duty is complete, and you can thank the weather gods.
You need to show up on time, as we need to be assured that all shifts are covered completely. Showing up for only a part of your shift will not fulfill your responsibility.
Your duties will include:
• Preparation of food.
• Service at the window to take/give orders.
• Collection and disposal of garbage from cans located around the complex.
• Clean up concession before end of shift.
