For those players who do not wish to participate in competitive post-season baseball, the league offers a truly “recreational” summer program, devoted to non-competitive games in a fun atmosphere. The summer “rec” program allows players to keep playing and working on their skills, but in a no-pressure setting with little or no formal practice time. Games are typically once per week. Players are grouped together by age and skill level depending on registration and may play against some other town teams. Registration for the summer program happens in May/June.
