Financials ( Shawn)
Treasurer gave report and provided a Balance Sheet to those in attendance. A couple of people still looking for their volunteer bonds.
Website (Bill)
We are in good shape. The site has been paid for and we have had a successful soft launch for fall ball registration. Bill has been updating some history on the new site. Looking at September to open it up.
Constitution
There was a motion to change the Executive Board to include 9 Members. ( The President, VP-Baseball, VP-Softball, VP of Operations, Player Agent, Treasurer, Secretary, League Information Officer, and Member at Large.) If at a meeting there is a tie vote, the President would have the deciding vote. The motion was second and was passed.
Softball ( Bill)
Both the 12's and 10's had a great summer. They both were able to field competitive teams. The 12's advanced to the District Champion Series and the 10's advanced to the District Final 4. The 9's Tournament team participated in the Bordentown Tournament and learned a lot about all-star level of softball.
Fall ball registration for softball has been light so far. Two girls from the High School North's softball team have arranged a clinic at the indoor facility this winter at a cost of $15 per session.
Baseball (Chris)
It was a good summer for post season baseball. The 12's won the District and a couple of games in Sectionals. The 11's improved. The 10's won the Districts and were in the Championship round of the Sectionals. There were also 12 and 10 Tournament teams that played tough, won some games and developed their skills . There were two 8 year old All Star teams that played well. One team played in the first tournaments championship and the other team played in the second tournaments championship. We also had a 9's team came together late and were happy. We had a 7 year old All Star team that played well, had fun and learned a lot.
Looking for more kids to come out and play fall ball .
Player Agent (Jacqui)
Reminder that evaluations need to be filled out.
Fund Raising Campaign( Ellen/Jacqui)
They have been personally going out to visit potential sponsors . They have drafted a letter as to what we are all about and what we are trying to accomplish. Thinking of sending an email blast informing everyone that if they bring in a sponsor they will have fulfilled their volunteer duty. We will have 2 prices. One price for T-ball through AAA and another for majors/minors. We will try to recruit someone for sponsorship and have them give a personal touch to the sponsors or potential sponsors. Looking to link the sponsors on the website or post their logo.
Fall Ball ( Steve)
There will be 3 levels in fall ball. Five year olds who played t-ball can play level 1.
Field Maintenance and Projects ( Andy)
A detailed report was handed out pertaining to the current and ongoing projects with the cost of the materials and labor. We have been making nice progress on the projects.
Other
Looking to put historical material on the website. We would call the pages "Hall of Fame".
Meeting adjourned 9:40.
